Ron was one of the original developers for Backup Buddy and has made his own company called MediaRon.
I will be looking at mainly one of his Gutenberg plugins Post Type Archive Mapping plugin.

The plugin offers a lot of good features making customization of how to show the post previews really powerful.
These are well thought out and are placed in a good logical order.

Sidebar options:
Select the Post Type. Posts, Pages and the Custom Post Types will also be listed here.
Then select Taxonomy. Categories, Tags or etc.
Then select Terms. As in which category or tag.
Select to Display the taxonomies.
Order by
Number of items to be seen.
Columns
Display featured image.
Image Type. Featured image or Gravatar.
Featured Image Size
Featured Image location. In relation to title, post meta and content.
Display: Post Author, Post Date, Post Excerpt, Pagination, Capitilization and Continue Reading Link.
Customize Read More Link.
Advanced is where one can add a CSS class.

NB! If your using a custom post type an additional option will show up under Settings -> Reading.
It is a way to define the archive of the custom post type. Highly useful option.

The backend view shows the layout and the sidebar options.

I have used the plugin on a few sites and I am very satisfied with it.
I have also used Ron’s plugin to inspire phase 2 of the Gutenberg Core Latest Posts block.

Other block plugins Ron has is the User Profile Picture block plugin and the Highlight and Share block plugin.
Another plugin I use from Ron is the Simple Comment Editing plugin. It offers a simple way to edit a comment made to a site.
